PrivaSearch

For SMEs that already work with ChatGPT, Claude or Mistral Vibe

AI on your client files.
Without sharing personal data.

Right now your team pastes contracts, personnel files and client reports into a chat window. PrivaSearch detects personal data, replaces it with pseudonyms and has a person check the processing before anything becomes searchable. The originals sit in a shielded environment with its own database and its own address per organisation, with EU hosting as the starting point.

PrivaSearch is software that lets your team search its own client files with Claude, ChatGPT or Mistral Vibe, after names, BSNs (Dutch citizen service numbers) and addresses have been replaced by pseudonyms and a colleague has checked that.

Works with uploads and with your existing SharePoint libraries, read-only. You connect Claude, ChatGPT Business or Mistral Vibe through a secure MCP connection. One price for your whole firm, not per user.

The term of the agreement is twelve months
with a notice period of two months.
Only the right-hand side goes to the search layer. Every project member can open the original; revealing a single pseudonym requires write access. Both are logged.

What goes wrong now

Uncontrolled AI use brings risks you can't undo.

Nobody does it on purpose. But every time a colleague "quickly" uploads a client file to get a summary, personal data leaves your organisation — often without a data processing agreement, without a record of processing activities and without a trail.

All six risks at a glance Do you use ChatGPT, Claude or Mistral Vibe? Here's how the GDPR applies

How PrivaSearch works

Pseudonymise and check first. Only then AI.

PrivaSearch sits between your documents and the AI model. Personal data is detected within PrivaSearch itself and replaced by consistent pseudonyms; a person approves before anything becomes searchable.

  1. Collect Upload files or connect a SharePoint library. Read-only: nothing changes in your source systems.
  2. Detect A language model within PrivaSearch and Dutch patterns find names, addresses, BSNs, IBANs and Dutch number plates.
  3. Review A colleague sees the original and the pseudonymised text side by side, corrects and explicitly approves.
  4. Search Answers come with passages and source references, per project, only for those who have access.
  5. Connect Claude, ChatGPT Business or Mistral Vibe searches the same released passages through MCP. Never the originals.

Your own assistant

Keep working with the latest model.

PrivaSearch isn't an AI of its own that lags behind the rest. You keep working in the assistant you already know. When a new model comes out, you simply use it, with the same protection around it.

GDPR and EU AI Act

Designed to support compliance and make it demonstrable.

Compliance isn't a tick box from a supplier but a chain of measures you can show to a supervisory authority — plus the paperwork that goes with it.

The measures per article
GDPR

Privacy by design, verifiable

Data minimisation, pseudonymisation with a separate vault, an audit log without document content, retention periods with controlled deletion, and processing in the EU.

EU AI Act

Human oversight, transparency, logging

No automated decisions about people, mandatory human oversight, a source reference with every answer and built-in AI literacy training with periodic refreshers.

To be honest: automatic detection is never complete. That's why the human review is mandatory and PrivaSearch always shows the original next to the pseudonymised text. For this particular processing, PrivaSearch also supplies the paperwork: an AI policy, a DPIA starter document (Art. 35 GDPR) with a risk analysis and residual risk, the entry for your record of processing activities (Art. 30 GDPR) and the written-out lawful basis with a balancing of interests — all derived from the actual set-up of your environment, so not a template that sits beside reality. The rest of your record of processing activities, the advice of your DPO and the formal adoption remain yours: these are starter documents, not legal advice.

Hosted in the EU

Designed with EU hosting as the starting point.

PrivaSearch is designed with EU hosting, pseudonymisation and limited data transfers as the starting point. Documents you upload are processed and stored in data centres in the EU; which parties are involved is set out in the overview of sub-processors. PrivaSearch delivers this as a cloud service: we take care of hosting, updates and security, and you don't have to install or manage anything.

What runs where
Architecture
  • Application · EU data centre, its own database and its own address per organisation
  • Originals · private S3-compatible storage, EU region, its own path per organisation
  • Detection · local language model, no external AI call for detection
  • Pseudonym vault · a key per organisation, only through the app
  • AI assistants · through MCP with OAuth on your own address, never access to files
