PrivaSearch

Compare

PrivaSearch next to the alternatives.

There are many ways to use AI safely at the office. Most of them replace your AI assistant with an environment of their own, or send the client file to the model as it is. PrivaSearch does neither: you keep the assistant you know, with the latest model, and it only gets to see pseudonymised passages.

What we compare on

Four questions to ask every provider.

  1. What does the AI model get to see? The whole client file with names and numbers, or only passages in which the personal data has already been replaced. For the GDPR, that is the difference between sharing everything and sharing as little as possible.
  2. Where is it stored, and under whose law? PrivaSearch runs on EU-sovereign hosting. With any other party, ask further: a data centre in Europe owned by an American company is not the same as a European provider.
  3. Which model do you work with? The latest from Claude, ChatGPT or Mistral Vibe, a model the provider chooses for you, or a smaller open model on its own servers. For searching it makes little difference; for an analysis it makes a lot.
  4. What is included, and what does it cost? An AI policy, a DPIA and AI training for your employees are things you have to arrange either way. And a price per user adds up quickly: PrivaSearch costs €175 a month for up to 10 employees and €350 for up to 25, for the whole firm.

Your AI assistant

Not competitors: you use them together.

Claude, ChatGPT and Mistral Vibe do the thinking; PrivaSearch decides what they get to see. Per assistant: what changes when you no longer upload a client file.

What's in PrivaSearch

Seven components, one subscription.

No separate packages and no extra charge per component. See the pricing.

  1. Search in your own client files Ask questions about your documents, with a reference to the source for every answer.
  2. Pseudonymise before the model Personal data is detected and replaced before any text goes to an AI model.
  3. Mandatory privacy review Nothing is searchable until a person has checked and released the document.
  4. AI policy, DPIA and record of processing activities Starter documents based on your own setup, for your lawyer or DPO to review.
  5. AI training for every employee The AI literacy from the AI Act, with an overview per person.
  6. Audit log and access management Every action recorded, with roles per project and mandatory two-step verification.
  7. Connection with your AI assistant Search from your assistant through MCP, within the same permissions and project boundaries.

The latest models

You work with the best model there is.

PrivaSearch supplies the passages; the thinking is done by the model you choose in your assistant. A platform that hosts open models itself works with smaller models that arrive later. A platform that chooses for you does not always choose the most powerful one.

PrivaSearch is our own product. What this page says about another party comes from that party's own public pages; the sources are on the page of each party. "Not mentioned" means that the party's site says nothing about it, not that it does not exist. If you see something that is not right, email privacy@privasearch.ai.
